Oklahoma Permit Test Practice

Oklahoma moved driver licensing from the Department of Public Safety to Service Oklahoma, and the change made the written exam far more convenient. Service Oklahoma now lets you take the written test online from home through its "Test Anywhere" option, using a computer with a camera and microphone, with two online attempts before you must test at a licensing office.

Timing depends on driver education. At 15 you must be enrolled in an approved driver ed course to get a learner permit; at 16 driver ed is optional. A completion certificate from a commercial or public driver ed school can even waive the written exam, though parent-taught courses don't count. Either way, you'll need about 80% to pass, so practicing free on DMV Permit Prep is a smart way to learn Oklahoma's signs, speed rules and right-of-way questions before you log in.
