Nebraska Permit Test Practice

Nebraska has more permit types than almost any state, thanks to its farm and rural roots. The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles offers an LPE (school learner's permit) and School Permit (SCP) as early as 14 years 2 months so rural kids can drive to school, then the standard LPD learner's permit at 15, followed by a Provisional Operator's Permit (POP) at 16.

The written test is 25 questions and you need 20 right (80%). You can even take it up to 60 days before your 15th birthday, though the LPD isn't issued until you turn 15. Completing an approved driver safety course can waive the POP tests, or you can log 50 hours (10 at night) instead. Practice free on DMV Permit Prep before your DMV exam.
