Delaware Permit Test Practice
Delaware ties the learner's permit closely to driver education. To get a Level 1 Learner Permit at 16, you must complete a state-approved driver education course, usually through a public or private high school, and pass the Delaware DMV's vision and knowledge tests. The written test has 30 multiple-choice questions, and you need 80% (24 correct) to pass.
Delaware's permit period lasts a full 12 months and comes in two halves. For the first six months, you can drive only with a supervising adult. After a parent or guardian certifies 50 hours of practice, 10 of them at night, you can drive alone between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. for the second half. Getting comfortable with the questions by practicing free on DMV Permit Prep makes the test day at the DMV easy.
